Adam, hey good info here . first i have to release the tensionless rules of my gen x generation here goes , i'm 50 but, gen x rules are that i can relive my 30's if i want at or after 50 ....... lol i'm noy trying to become a pro by any means i think i'm past that point haha 2 questions i rarely could sing tho in grade school music teacher singled me out for some reason, to do jus that really i didnt take it seriously .I play a lil guitar and thought either u could sing or u couldnt miss info i took from they who we dont speak they name! I have been practicing and didnt know but i was acually doing jus what you taught us there i can say it really works for me but Some songs I ;like to sing make emotions leak from my eyes like floody like ! Especially if i'm hitting those notes really nice, when this happens it really messes up the notes ,pitch whatever ya call it. Does this happen to everyone or is my EMO level too much ? Mom says we 2 are EMO'S in the family. I believe her , my history says so too. Yelp! 2nd I can usually find my range quick and hit notes / pitch good when music is playing out load but if i sing from the noise in my head It is completely off key outta pitch not even close to song range. Sorry, was reading comments while listening and stopped the video where I got to the place where they said you didn’t finish the song. Also, and I witnessed this one for myself, about stopping evy10 seconds. I realize it’s a reaction, but from what I saw you stopped after just about every phrase he sang. In the comments thse things didn’t seem to bother most of them, just wasn’t for me.

Thank you. I found (this was a long time ago) that hearing my recorded voice back was a surprise and...not a very welcome one. It never sounded anything like the voice/effect I was going for and.......I didn't like it for that reason. It took me a while to get used to the difference between the voice I hear in my own head and the "stranger" that I hear when recording. It took me longer to learn to like and then love my voice and to forgive it for not sounding anything like my personal vocal heroes. Only then could I sing freely and widen my range and boundaries, seek ways to adapt while being expressive, practice without too much shyness and accept that there are some vocals that I just can't do. I think this kind of "shock" is fairly common so......that's why I mention it. Not everybody can be (insert your favourite name here) but everyone does have a voice. This said, singing to amplified music and drumkits isn't something everyone can do. Guitar players, drummers, bass players and instrumentalists generally aren't difficult to find but a talented singer is gold dust. Learn to use and love what you have - we can do that.
